my daughter and I had a bonding moment, when she played Brian Regan for me, about a decade ago... so "Moosen" was a family spelling joke for a long time, which I'd nearly forgotten about, until last week.

I was in IM with her, and describing my attempts to communicate with vendors at the market, that I was looking for vegetable basura (leafy greens garbage) por mi animales, patos, pollos, gansos, conejos, patitos, pollitos, y conejitos)

and she replied... "I got them all except gansos, had to look that one up in Babelfish."

"they're GOOSEN !!"

I almost fell off the chair laughing !!
