Default I made a new purchase, and they arrived today!

I needed new boots for the winter. Last winter was atrocious, having to sit down and lace up boots with numb fingers (imagine pre-dx in full 'flare' with me not even knowing it was MS yet). Not to mention, it's bad enough trying to walk through snow, let alone have heavy as heck boots strapped to your feet. I'd get home completely exhausted.

So ok, they're 'trendy'. They're also quite costly. But you know, sometimes you have to treat yourself, and these boots were screaming "Laura buy us!!!".

No laces, light as a feather, comfy as heck, Uggs.

Let's just say, so light, when the mailman dropped the parcel off, I didn't think the boots were in the box and got scared.

(if you can't see the imagine on your end, I can try fixing it)

I love my Uggs! I have the slippers/clogs and my feet love them. They are worth every penny, I have had them about three years and they still look decent.

Oh no, not at all, it's a matter of grab and slide on. Think of slippers in the sense of ease to put on.

In the picture I actually folded the top down, so the plushy wool inside is showing because I think it looks adorable.

The instructions actually say to wear them barefoot too. Well, I don't want my Uggs all stinky and sweaty! Apparently they keep the feet cool in the summer and warm in the winter due to the materials used.

Oh Laura . . . you are so last year!

We sold out of those here by about October/07, and my sister had to bring my kids some for Xmas from Chicago. What was really cool (to them) was that they got colors that we couldn't get up here originally. I swear, they wore those things into May . . .

My eldest went to Oregon to do her back-to-school shopping last week, and the "latest" fashion is these low, small-healed, black leather boots . . . but I can't remember what she called them.

Those boots you've bought are GREAT though, and I borrow my daughter's quite often when I just need to run out for a few minutes. The only problem is that they aren't so good in the rain, and we get plenty of that in Vancouver.

Cherie

LOL Cherie. I'm glad to hear I bought great boots We just get snow, snow and more snow here in the winter. If by off chance we get rain or ice storm, I'll leave my Uggies at home and wear the old clunkers.

Sadly, Uggs cannot be found anywhere in New Brunswick. Halifax is the nearest location. So I went online purchase.

They do! They're made from sheepskin and very popular here in Australia. I remember having knee high ones when I was younger. Now I have a pair of sheepskin slippers (that are naturally a lot smaller than your boots) and I wear mine all the time inside the house.

They look very warm and functional!

Like Koala, I have some great sheepskin slippers that I live in during the winter. My feet love them! I also have a couple of sheepskin rugs that I acquired from Australia! And one from New Zealand. Picked them up during my travels many years ago. Yes, they still look like new! (the rugs not the slippers!)

Those look like great boots. I didn't know they were so light. Nice picture too.
