Thanks for the suggestions and the cheer guys!

I think what bothered me the most was that I had one of those gut check moments; you know- the feeling that you ARE different and it feels as if someone has sucker punched you in your gut and in your psyche? I have spent the last few days licking my wounds and grieving the loss of the old me. I know... snap out of it

This time it was over bowling, next time it could be over opening a jar, or having sex or seing a change in my penmenship. I guess what really has gotten to me is the changes that keep sneaking up on me without my permission. It is as if once I get accustomed to "me" life goes and throws me a surprise. I find myself cruising along, perfectly fine with any adaptations I/we have had to make then WHAM! MS reality slaps me upside the head and reminds me I am not always in control of my actions, choices or options. Does it ever end?

Pity party is slowly ending; I guess I just needed to whine to those who had been there. I trust you guys to tell me the truth even if I do't like the answers.

Yeah, those gut check moments HURT big time and make you wonder about yourself. That's the most painful thing of it all.

I remember the first time that happened to me. I made a public scene about it and stormed off leaving everyone with mouths gaping. It didn't matter to me. I was humiliated, hurt, and felt like a 2 year old being told to go stand in the corner for something I didn't do and not being able to stand up for myself.

You don't know where it's going to come from, but it happens. Just another lovely gift from the MonSter to us.

And AMN got it right!!!!!!!!

DM, I have a 42 inch but a 27 inch should be just as much fun. My kids play on a smaller tv at school so you should be fine. Check out EB Games or any video game store for used games and consoles to save some money if you want. We paid $300 for our console and it came with five games on a disk. We haven't even opened the other games we bought yet.

We play golf, bowling and boxing the most.

OH! And you can go online with it and buy old games like Mario and Donkey Kong. lol

I am a bit spoiled. I have a 50inch TV and that is what my Wii is attached to.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my wii!

The game system is $249 and is becoming more available. the last few target runs, I saw two or three in the case. Game stop is geting more and more.

The balance board for the wii is $89.

Best toy EVER!

I have a PS3 in my bedroom to play FFXI on my 32inch LCD. I hate laying in bed, but when I got very sick with cancer, and was forced to lay down, and too sick to read, and too doped, my neice got me started playing games. I love them!
