And here I thought I was the only one with telephone numbers problems. The first number we got was always ringing asking to talk to Nancy. Mind you , I did not know any Nancy. After being polite for the hundredth time, I told this young man, who was asking for Nancy, that I did not know where she was but, whoever she was, she was certainly very popular! Ooops...I hope I did not break Nancy's heart but she should have given all her friends her new number!
I laughed so hard when I read everybody's solutions. You guys are so creative! I have another number now which gave me the same problems with this other person everybody was after. Yeah...we had to take the phone off the hook at night . Not even the answering machine could help us at all. I felt like saying "sorry but so-so passed away" but I never did...Shucks! Should I? I still get a few calls for him!:Ponder::Sob:
