I'm not sure if folks are familiar with "So Good" yogurt (I'm not even sure if it's a Canadian product specifically). It's a 100% lactose free soy yogurt.
In comparison to standard yogurts, it's very pricey, but it's lactose free, hence my desire to buy and try. I always check best before dates of products before buying. In this case, the best before date was "September 3, 2008". Rocking right? I bought it around August 20th, and I figured that it wouldn't last beyond September 3rd. I'd put it in my fridge immediately, and I had only once taken it out to serve some. I put it back in with the lid firmly closed. Today (August 26th) I wanted to have some more of it, so I took it from the fridge, opened it... ... and found mold growing on the inside of the container, on the side! EW. I'm less tolerant of mold than I am of lactose products! So I threw out my pricey yogurt I had one serving of  I wrote the company a complaint already. Not 1 other thing in my fridge has become moldy, not even bread beyond expiry.

Was it a large container? You said you served some out of it.
I think that once you've opened something, it's got a limited shelf life, since the seal of freshness has been broken and allowed air into the container. I've bought the little one serving containers of Yoplait, and without even opening the container, opened it up a day or two later to find that it was somehow compromised and no longer edible, even if I didnt open it up till I was ready to eat it.

http://www.sonice.ca/english/yogurt_strawberry.cfm This guy. I won't be buying it anymore though. I paid double the cost of buying this than I would a larger container of regular yogurt

Ok UPDATE!
News is actually GOOD. This company emailed me back in 1 hour. I was SHOCKED! And offered me a replacement voucher. Very good customer service indeed.
