I was having trouble getting on here off and on for the past 3 or 4 days...and that includes the other forum with the initials B and T.

I have been having problems getting to a lot of sites all weekend, and strangely enough, a lot of the stores here in Omaha have been having their credit card machines crashing. Makes me wonder if it's all connected.

I read on one of the news websites that there are Russian hackers that are doing denial of service attacks on places in Georgia (the country, not the American state) I wonder if they've got something to do with the wackyness of the internet over the past few days.

Yep. Had trouble ALL day yesterday except for early morning. Probably a good thing--I got work done around the house! LOL

There's been a bit of a glitch in the workings, but DocJohn is on top of it all.

He's explained it all in the Community & Forum Feedback Threads. : http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/post353302-9.html

Hopefully all will be well tomorrow, or if not tomorrow, then soon.

Thanks, Anne. I don't go there, so would have missed it.

Having been through ONE server change on another forum and the problems that caused, I certainly hope this one's much smoother.

I got on ONCE in the AM, and then wasnt able to the rest of the day. Maybe neuro talk needs a larger server now that they are so popular.

hope they fix it.

I tried internet explorer, and firefox, no luck

the link Anne provided on CFF has a post from DocJohn this morning explaining that we are moving to a new server etc

here it is again
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/sh...302#post353302

sorry for the problems and please be reassured that Doc is working on all this with great care to ensure a smooth move as well as ensuring that the database and everyone's stored info is safe

thanks
Cheri

I think we all have PTSD after what happened in "that other place"!! It's nice to be kept in the loop when things are changing...... Thanks DocJohn!
