I guess there aren't any good reality shows right now! So what are all of my fellow addicts watching, or are you in rehab?

For me I'm watching reruns of NCIS, Law and Order, CSI, etc. There are some nice Christmas specials on and quite a few good movies on Hallmark.

It's been a long time since we have posted on this. Since then there have been a couple of new reality shows.

Superstars of dance: I'm not sure as to the quality of this show and the partialness of the judges. I don't consider the guy from Chine using his martail arts things as dance although he got some decent scores. I think the producers must have talked to the judeges after the first night because the scores were much lower the second night.

Not sure of he name of the second reality show I watched. Something about beauty being inside and out: 10 'beautiful' people living together and they think it is a beauty compition. They don't know that secret cameras are watching how they really act in life to see if they have inner beauty.

The biggest loser: started tonight. I think this is the first time they started a season in January when so many people have a New Year resolution to lose weight. Many more teams, have a yougest contestant-18, heaviest contestant-can't remember and oldest couple. As always a twist. At the final weigh in, couple at the top of the leader board is safe. One couple is safe after winning the challenge. All the other couples have to decide which of their team goes home!!!! Another twist. If that ousted team members partner is still on the ranch in 30 days, he or she gets to come back! I don't know how a person can have the HUGE amount of weight loss the first week. The ol' Grandpa got sick with the first workout and had to go to the hospital but ended up with the largest weight loss for the longest time.

OK, what are you all watching?

I watched the biggest loser also and I am also very confused how
a person also much much older then the others lost all of that weight.

I don't recall seeing him working out very hard. Also being he got sick
at first and colloapsed because of low blood pressure it just does not
click.

When he walked back in the room after the hospital trip he looked to
happy and well. When he collasped the em person did not really do any-
thing for him except say breathe. A person passes out, where was the
oxygen, where was the excitement that something was happening. His wife
wasn't to out of sorts.

Maybe it is just me, but this looks like a setup.

My guess is that they gave him a diuretic at the hospital to get a lot of fluid off his system. I'm just glad he is still there to reclaim his life.

American Idol is getting ready to start. 2 weeks of auditions first. I doubt I will watch those. I can't stomach the bad ones they put in for entertainment. I guess because my daughter sings, that I take it that good singers are being passed up to give the other ones tv time, just for ratings.

Well we had another episode of Super stars of dance. I think NBC production read a lot of the viewers comments on the camera production and it was better. I still wish that USA would have picked some of their better dancers to showcase our talent. And I wonder if the Chinese judge has an opinion or just a number.

tomorrow night is The Biggest Loser and American Idol auditions. Since NCIS is also on I will have to skip American Idol(:

American Idol has now started!!!!!!!!! I only watched the second half hour because my husband wanted to watch NCIS and I was recording The Biggest Loser, which I haven't watched yet. From what I saw of the one hour, they were showing more of the good auditions. I really enjoyed seeing the blind guy.

Today I watched my recorded 'True beauty' from last night. It makes me so mad to see those 'beautiful' people thinking that the world owes them something just because they think they are flawless. They sent the right one home.

Anyone watching 'The Bachelor' or "Mommas Boy'?

I watched the first 1/2 hr of AI. It sounds like it may be a good year for them.

I havn't been watching any of the others. I never did like BL. When does a new BB start? What happened to HK?

I think the auditions on AI are better this year. Simon isn't being as mean.

I felt really sorry for the guy eliminated last night on TBL. They have a woman that just isn't holding up her end of the deal. they have a new twist this year. 9 Of the teams have a teamate at home. If the teamate on the ranch last through to the 4th week, the one at home gets to come back. So this one lady just wasn't pulling it. She had a 2 pound weight loss for the week. So that put her in jeapordy. But the two teams that followed her did even worse. So she was safe. One of the teams was a guy that is way over 400 pounds, like 20 years old and really needs to be there. The other one below the yellow line was a 63 year old Grandpa that really needed to lose the weight. So they all voted off the Grandpa. He had a good support system at home and the young guy didn't.

I also think that AI is going to be better this year. Why is there another
judge on the panel. Have you noticed how quite and calm (brain fog, can't
remember her name) is this year.

Agree with you doydie that female on BL should have gone. When you
won't work with your group and also for yourself "WHY ARE YOU THERE"
I don't think I have ever seen BOB so mad like he was at her this last show.

I hope that HK will be on this year. It seems that all the good shows
disappear.
