I like eight o clock or dunkin donuts.:) sorry my dear purists but its
gotta be hazelnut served with extra milk, no sugar.(or as my dear uncle calls it fu fu coffee) hmmmm.........drinking some now........good stuff.:) |
I buy a big bag of Starbucks Houseblend beans at Sam's Club. We grind a weeks worth at a time. It's all run through a plain 'ol Mr Coffee.
Hubby uses amaretto creamer and I use hazelnut...if sweetener is needed we both use agave. |

Love my coffee! We grind our own and make it by the pot. I drink it black. Most times we use 8 o'clock Bokar blend which I love and when on sale is quite cheap. Dunkin Donuts is also a favorite of mine. DH likes Kona also.

No coffee, no workee!!! We have a Krups 12c coffeemaker and Krups grinder. We grind a few days worth and keep it in an airtight jar.
I just bought a bunch of Starbucks Special Reserve on sale, from all over the world - Tanzania, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Sumatra, and Mexico. I like cinnamon added to the grounds before brewing. |
we use a Toddy coffee maker
It's a cold brew - no electricity - system, 67% less acid in the final elixer. :) It's one of those things where you put the fresh ground beans in with water and wait 12 or so hours before uncorking. In the end, it creates about a quart of coffee concentrate to be used in either hot or cold beverages, depending on how you prefer your java. It lasts us at least a week. We've been using it for years. The flavor is awesome and the fact that it's low tech suits me these days... :) http://www.toddyproducts.com/about/news_msnbc.php |
Earl,
I have to admit that the BEST coffee that I have had is my daily "dose" from the local gas station/java shop.:D They must put something in that stuff becuase it is better than anything I can get elsewhere.:) I do make coffee one cup at a time late in the afternoon/evening. I use several methods depending on how much time I have. These include a one-cup drip coffee maker or by pouring hot water onto grounds in a cup. -Vic Quote:

Belize doesn't really have the elevation to properly grow coffee... so, there's not much available, and it's pretty pricey. luckily, we're next door to Guatemala and Nicaragua, where some of the best coffees in the world are happening! here's one of my local favorites: http://www.miramarproductions.com/ga...cts/coffee.gif we usually buy the whole roasted beans from Gallon Jug. and grind every couple of days. our coffeemaker is a Krups Aroma Control with a thermal carafe, and no heating plate to wear out. http://www.phoblography.net/images/p...offeeMaker.jpg I figured this time around I would splurge a little and get a nice coffee maker that might produce better quality results and last a bit longer. With that said, I decided on the Krups AromaControl 198 with a steel carafe. I tried it out when I got home - I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this unit. http://phoblography.net/page/3/ |
Kay Debbie says hello and two bags of java and some papaya jam, at least she thinks thats what the jam was....that you were making
