Well I guess the votes are really in and I now realize no one here knows how to fold a fitted sheet:D

I am Just Shocked:eek:

I do like the idea of stuffing everything in a pillow case.

*I still want to learn how to fold a fitted sheet*:thud:

OK Beth - Here you go . . .

Here's How:

1. Slip your hand into 2 top corners of the sheet.
2. With one hand inside each of the top 2 corners, fold the sheet (right sides together). Slip each of the top corners into one of the bottom corners.
3. Lay sheet on bed or table. Arrange and fold the corners neatly. Turn in selvage edges enough to make 4 straight sides.
4. Fold in half, then in half again. (All four corners will be stacked together, and sheet will be in a long strip.
5. Then fold the long strip in half, then in half (or thirds, depending on the size of the sheet) again to make a square.
6. Sheet should be a compact, neat square.
7. Smooth and place on shelf.

Tips:

1. Learn how to fold sheets consistently so that they remain neat each time.
2. Store sheets in sets (flat, fitted, and cases) if that is how you use them.
3. Mark shelves with sheet sizes, or use different shelves for different size sheets.
4. For patterned sheets, by folding the bottom sheet inside out and the top sheet right side out, you'll be able to easily tell the difference

Now, when you are done, let us know how it went.;)

I played that when I was a kid. Twister, right?

LOL. Cognitively, I can't deal with detailed instructions. I only got to #2 and said the he!! with it, I'm not reading through this, I'll give to Beth and ask her how it went. :D

The only way I know how to do it right is with my sissy and since we no longer share a room, I do the solo act of stuff-n-stash.

But, I guess I should mention that my psycho mother was the only person in the world who could fold sheets so perfectly that they would fit back into the original package. She was a maniac.
