Hi Everyone. I have a huge favor to ask!!!
I have been wanting to learn this for a long time. I have tried every which way possible (in my book) and I still don't get it. I get flustered and end up rolling it end over end in a nice little ball. I may need clear visual step by step instructions. ![]() How does one fold a fitted sheet? ![]()

Beth - I HATE folding fitted sheets. There are sites on the web that have articles as well as video's on how to do this.
http://www.realsimple.com/realsimple...0166-1,00.html http://www.metacafe.com/watch/384148...uared_corners/ I still struggle with it. Now that they have put elastic around the whole border of the sheet, it makes it even more difficult to fold. Many times, I strip the beds, wash the sheets, and just put them back on the bed instead of having to fold. ![]() I also "package" my sheets when I fold them. I put the fitted sheet and matching pillow cases in the last "fold" of my top sheet. Then everything is put together and we just pull out the "package" when changing our sheets. |

That is too funny, Bethie~ I just looked and mine are in a neat lil ball in the linen closet. Mostly though, I do like Trish and wash the sheets and put them right back on.
My Mother could fold a set of sheets and make them look like they just came from the store. One talent I did NOT inherit.

I can make them appear to be folded on the outside, but inside they're really kinda wadded up.
Good enough for who's coming, as we say here. ![]() Now if you can tell me, how do ya iron without ironing in more wrinkles than ya iron out, I'll give you a cookie.

![]() ![]() ![]() Yes, my fitted sheets may look ok on the outside but like Brain, they are a wrinkle wadded mess on the inside. Once they are on the bed a bit, the wrinkles are gone. Beside does it really matter? Who sees the bottom sheet anyhow. LOL |

BTW - Bannet, maybe I can work something out with your mom. Would she like to come here in the winter? Maybe do some ironing and sheet folding in exchange for rent? LOL Does she cook well too? Hmmmm. Now I'm thinking . . .

To be fair, I wouldn't have the foggiest clue how to fold one myself.
