In Remembrance
|
At about 9:30 am CST, or in about 1-1/2 hours, the European Space Agency is bringing down their first ATV (Automated Transfer Vehicle), their unmanned internation space station resupply rocket.
They say 70% of the rocket will burn up in the atmosphere, but that some components, ranging from 10 kg to 100 kg, will hit the planet. They're targeting the south pacific ocean. Let's just hope they done calculated their de-orbit burns right... It is their first time... Tom |

Big Tom, couldn't you have had them aim for my yard? Moose short on cash and I could sell a chunk on the eBay! Sincerely, Moose *likes telling people he knows a guy who works for NASA and has the MS like him.

Uh, Tom, in the future, could you do something about clearing the skies over here first, please?
