Come on, Tom! You can't leave us hanging like that. Fess up and let us know what the doc said!

Hope you're hanging in there and that at least they gave you some good drugs to deal with the pain.

Ok, I've been bad in not up-dating this. It's kinda busy for me right now. We're trying to wrap up the work on the house and put Ike behind us.

Doc said yeap - femural bone infarction. But, not to worry. Not uncommon. Especially in smokers... He says I've had it for a while. Meanwhile, where the leg hurts (Tibia), nothing broken or chipped. He says I may have moved some of the steel a bit (the stuff they put in my tibia after a snowmobile accident over 20 years ago).

So - sore leg, I'll hobble for a while, try to stay off it as much as possible, ice it down at night, and keep it elevated.

Tom

Oh yeah - STS-126 is still scheduled for lift-off Nov 14. Big wheels are meeting towards the end of the week to discuss moving it up a day or three. It's shuttle Endeavour's turn. It's already on the launch pad.

Glad to know they didn't keep you, chop off your legs, and fit you out with pogo sticks instead!

Hope you bounce back soon, my friend.
