Twink, that just plain ole sucks. I'm so sorry to hear that news.

Maybe he's taking it better because he "knew" in his heart already. My grandmother (who died short of her 95th) said to me at her 94th birthday that she thought it might be the last Christmas she was around. (Her birthday's the day after Christmas.) It was. And I thought she was indestructible too. Miss her every day.

I wish you fortitude to get through this with your dad.

I'm so sorry about your dad, Twink. Honor his wishes, even though it may be very hard for you to do. He knows what he wants and needs.

Oh Rochelle, I'm so sorry . . My mom was just 65 when she got her dx. She had the chemo and radiation because none of us could get a straight answer from her doctors about whether it would help her in the long run. I don't think she wanted it but did it for us. In hindsight, I wish she hadn't opted for chemo because it made what time she had left miserable. We tried to keep her at home as long as possible but it became way to hard for my dad and me. I'll be praying hard for all of you . I know how hard this is for you. You will be in my thoughts.
