Thanks so much Tammy and everyone.

When I told Dad how many of my friends were praying for him, he was amazed!

We'll know Tuesday what kind of lymphoma it is and whether it is fast or slow-moving.

Geez Twink! I'm gone for a few days and all heck breaks out! I'm so sorry your Dad isn't doing well. Hopefully he will end up with a good outcome from tx. This really stinks!

Love and hugs,
Carolyn

Default I have good news to report!!!

Dad's oncologist (who knew he'd ever need one of those?) called me tonight with the results of the biopsy.

The lymphoma is a slow-growing variety. (Giant exhale)))))).

Rituxin is a consideration, although Dad said he didn't want chemo. Apparently Rituxin is more tolerable than most chemos. You don't lose your hair (he said, "Good, I don't have many left to lose!), you don't get nauseated.

When I told the Doc that I was worried about him becoming even weaker and possibly falling, he said Rituxin has had some success in actually strengthening people. Wow, huh?

He will need one infusion per week for 6-8 weeks, then just once every 2 months. I think Dad is going to give it a try.

The doc said that 60-80% of people with cancer who use it have a very good chance of surviving 5+ years. Dad just might live to celebrate his 100th b-day after all!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you all for you prayers. They mean so much to us!
