Default In my own time zone

I think I'm in a different time zone than everybody else. Just when I sit down to unwind a little before bedtime (mine, not yours) everybody disappears to go have dinner, or whatever normal people do this time of evening.

I log off, and go to bed. Then, when I get up in the morning and check in, there are seven thousand new posts.

Doesn't anybody else go to bed early and get up early?

Well, jmiller, if I ate FISHHEADS like you do, I'd lose my breakfast! Yuck!

I often stay up till 1:00 am, and am awake again by 6:00 am. Last night I was up at 4:00 am because some idiot called with a wrong number. I sleep 2 - 3 hrs for sure each day though, and sometimes I sleep all day.

I know you go to bed before most primary school kids though . . . so it's no wonder you miss all the fun. Also, remember we are in different time zones, and 3 hrs behind the East here. My 1:00 am is New York's 4:00 am.

I hear ya, B2Y. My sleep patterns are all over the place. I never sleep for more than 3 hours at a time (day or night) unless I've taken something to make me sleep.

I get real sleepy between 8-9 PM and usually am asleep by 9:30-10:00 PM. I'll wake up around midnight - 1 AM and be awake for an hour or so. Go back to sleep and wake up between 4:30 - 5:00 AM.

Sometimes I'll go back to bed after everyone leaves for work. That's when I do my best sleeping. Last week I slept in until 11 AM! It felt so good.

I'm not big on taking sleep meds so I just deal with whatever sleep I can get. I have no job to get to at a certain time and no reason (usually) to be up at a certain hour so I don't get stressed about it. I know I can always take a nap if I need to but so far recently I haven't needed one.

Ahhhh...no job! I get it! After I retire, it won't MATTER what kind of schedule I'm on! I can take a nap if I need to without screwing up my sleep pattern for the next four days!
