Oh I am SOOOooooo in on this one:

AUTHENTIC GUINNESS(R) HOME PUB: $250,000
In celebration of Guinness' 250th Anniversary, the legendary brand is offering the ultimate gift for beer lovers -- a fully functional traditional Irish pub custom-built for their home. The Authentic Guinness Home Pub will be handcrafted with Guinness artifacts and Irish architectural elements reflecting the brand's rich legacy. The bar also comes with a keg dispensing unit and a one year supply of fresh Guinness draught -- ideal for serving perfectly poured pints. Included in the gift package is a VIP trip for two to Dublin, with first-class airfare, luxury accommodations and insider access to the magic being made at the historic St. James's Gate brewery. Whether out at the pub, or enjoying in the luxury of one's home, Guinness is always best enjoyed responsibly.

Now that is worth every penny. Yum..... a year supply of fresh Guinness....... insider access to the Guinness brewery..... a VIP trip to Dublin.....

Drool.....

Guess I have to wait until my retirement plan numbers come up in the evening draw.

Unfortunately, I'm stuck with the perverse incurable disease that I can ONLY buy an american made car (yes, I'm from Detroit). So I guess it's me and Chevy forever...

I had a beamer once - - a 12 year old used one. When I lived in Germany...

Actually, the price is reasonable.

I like the Hammecher Schlemmer whatever catalog too. This year's mahogany remote controlled boat is to die for!!!

Tom

We only buy American made cars too. My sister bought a foreign car and dh won't let her park it in our driveway. She has to park across the street when she visits lol.

Ya think Santa will bring me that Guiness bar? I know a couple people who'd help me break it in.

Maybe if you and I are REAL nice to him.....

OR.... we can go halvsies! (would that be 8oz instead of 16oz?)

Um... Holly and Greta's hubby like Guinness too. So now we're getting reasonably close to affordable. The only thing is that we'd have to pay a lot of shipping to send the bar back and forth.

Yeah, Jumping Jack Flash blaring out of a Mustang... Gawd, what year was that. 2003? Toledo's got as much vested interest in buying american as Detroit does - is the jeep plant still open? I didn't pay that close attention last year. Please enlighten your sister, and tell dh I appreciate his attitude.

The Guiness bar also drew my attention but I think that's been in the catalog for a few years now. Maybe we can make a go of it together and make a killing by getting celebrities to sign hot dog buns and hang them from the walls (it's a Toledo thing...).

Ok, I'll take one of each, now who is my gift exchange partner?

Do they have any garments made out of platinum and diamonds?

Boy, and I thought you were a friend. That's just plain ole cruel excluding ME from consideration as a partner on this present.

Speaking of buns, there's a new Packo's right downtown by the Erie st Market. Mmmmm. My cholesterol is getting too low (yeah right) so I could use to do lunch some time hint hint...

Jeep is open, but I think they just shut one shift. You know how it is, lay offs every year with them. It's partly their fault, with how ugly all the jeeps are and bad mileage to boot. You gotta be a certain kind of person to drive one of those things, you know?

Dh and ds work at csx though and it's really enough to honk one off, all the rice burners that go through the Stanley yard. The east side looks as bad as Dearborn, like a ghost town. Woodville mall is barely open, Southwyck is closed, you believe that?

Gazelle - I used to date Animal. Not much for conversation, good sense of humor though.
