Yeah seriously. Fact, I saw a small island forming last night on my worldly tongue.

Now to solve the white hair fine lines that run vertically from top to bottom of my cheeks that are not OLP. I also noticed some yellow or flesh colored bumps around the corners of the inside of my mouth on either side. Teeny tiny things. Like I really need more whacko mouth issues than I'm already dealing with?

I'll be honest, the teeny things were lesser when I woke up today, so I almost think they're a drug reaction to Clonazepam (and I can deal with them, they're not painful, and Clonazepam is helpful). They were not there PRE Cloanzepam, and showed up almost instantly after I began Clonaz, so, I'm just going with that explanation for now.

Plus the dentist looking around my mouth intently (make that 2 dentists and 4 assistants) didn't say boo about them so.

Yeah, there's a party in my mouth and you're all invited!

Edit: Cankers be inside the mouth, cold sores be outside the mouth.

Second Edit: Holy threadjack batman!

I take Clonazepam. If it was a side effect, trust me I would have it!! Is it really a side effect? I will trade you the hallucinations of lyrica for your canker sores. Is this like go fish? Or some such game?

I saw mouth lesions listed as a side effect on a few sources. I seem to overall tolerate Clonaz well though. I think there can honestly be 10,000 different side effects for drugs.

Carbamazepine caused 'pitch perception' changes in my hearing. I'm not joking.

My neurologist had NEVER heard of this with the drug... until he got looking and found case studies of young musically trained children who experienced the same side effect. It is an extremely rare side effect of the drug.

His response to all of this? "You should play an instrument". LOL!

Might I suggest that a French Horn is a great instrument (to bring this full circle--or sorecle).

It's pretty dang satisfying. Almost like getting rid of a mouth full of sores I'd imagine.

I'm much better at completing a game of Duck, Duck, Goose or Ring around the Rosey.
