I heard that the rain stopped there...that's good, but I suppose the water will still be rising.

Our prayers stopped the rain let's see if we can stop the rising..

The highway is closed in her area. I haven't heard from her but will try to give her a call. We have other friends who live in the area and it's bad there.

I am on the phone with her now. She is still not under water. She thinks she will be ok. Her dad's place will be ok if the dike holds. If the river stays within its banks, they will be ok! Tonight is the telling night!

She said to tell Shelley that the mint store is on high ground.

Oh THANK GOD! And for Twiffy's safety too.

Please tell her that I open my home for mint storage. Although I still have a bag and a half! Yep I do.

Another horrible part is still to come, the clean up...
those news videos showing all the muddy water and crud that will have to be cleaned up after...plus the flooded homes...
and the insurance denials- so the repair costs fall to the owner..

Hope you and your family are dry Taffy.
