in the last 144 years of reporting on that silly ground hog, he has only NOT seen his shadow 16 times! He ALWAYS predicts more winter!

We are expecting yet MORE snow tonight. We are gathering up our stuff to head out to the grocery store in the big city about an hour away. Its so nice to go to a big store where they have isles and isles full of bright shiney boxes! I think an outing will do me good.

I HAVE CABIN FEVER!

Well, it's down in the single digits again and we are expecting that snow that just hit Indianapolis (6inches). The good thing is, that we are expecting only about and inch or 2. It is still supposed to warm up a bit by the weekend...

Frank, I heard you have some lake effect snow heading your way..

Sorry, Dej and all..

Shocked

at the end of last week, we got another 2 feet of snow within 48 hours... partly sunny this week (very welcome ! ) we have daytime temperatures around 9*F (-13*C) and nights around -5*F (-21*C)

our grand parents have always told us that the spring goes per the moon and easter... easter can be anytime between early march till end of april... easter calendar is already calculated forever in advance... dunno how they really did that...

but the thing i have to remember is that when easter is late like this year, april 10, we can expect real winter-like weather until that date... heavy snowstorms in the quebec and mid and upper ontario provinces... i dunno about the rest of canada... many usa states have almost the same weather as quebec and ontario... huh !

Yup! Enough!

I was talking to the loving fiance () about moving to warmer climes.

His silent reply was to turn on the weather channel and freeze the picture on FL and their freeze warnings.

How's Belize these days, Kay? Tell us ALLLLL about it, please?

last week Kay was telling us how cold it was at 50 degrees and i think we were at 2 above or below and i was sarcastic about oh so cold, and in my ignorance, Kay politely pointed out a minor detail, and I apologized immediately for being ignorant. "how many homes in a jungle have heat?" not a lot, if any, yeah i managed to insert my whole foot in my mouth.

I hear tell its gonna warm up for us and supposedly for more than a whole 36 hrs. that would be nice to have highs in the 20's let alone the 30 and dare I say it 40's. i listen to my body and watch the critters and use them instead of those snake oil salesmen i mean weather dorks. i not sure which I would rather snow or cold, but we got lucky here we were set to hit a new snow fall record,

as it is they use an area of the city that doesnt get hit a lot with snow for its weather report and totals and deb and i measure out front, cause we are bored and need new hobbies. but we avg almost 4 inches more snow each snow fall. but something happened, not sure what but the snow pattern that was hitting us all dec seems to of shifted, glad it did, just tired of the cold this year, its really a sad thing when you go outside at 6 or 7 am and say wow its only 3 degrees, hmm its not that bad out
