Ali, I bought some lovely oil paintings at an art exhibition once, and I had them framed at a picture gallery. Granted the frames weren't cheap, but that's another option.

My brother on the other hand, went to KMart (WalMart?) and bought all the frames he needed.... all different borders, and all in different sizes. All he had to do was put the frames together, and varnish them in whatever colour he wanted, and then he framed his pictures really cheaply .

If your dad is handy, or if you have an uncle that could do it for you, your mum might find that a much more affordable option.

Good luck Ali. I just love all your photos. I just wish I was young enough to do the same thing but unfortunately elderly grandmas don't come up quite as gorgeous in their photographs.

Wow, Ali! I just saw your pictures this morning ~ they all turned out great! I can see why your mom is having a hard time picking one out for the frame...Maybe you could choose one for the wall & then get one of those i-frames that'll change out several pictures ~ show 'em all! I'm glad you had such a good time, the makeover was incredible! You and your mom will remember this day for a long time, I'm sure..And you're only 13 ...My heart goes out to your mom..Been there.

Awww, thank you all so very much for the lovely comments on my pictures - I am overwhelmed by them all and they mean a lot to me and my mum so thank you!

COK - I had to laugh about what you said about my mum having to lock me up until I am older because what you said is kinda true lol. I took the makeover pictures into the school centre that I go to today as all of the teachers wanted to see the pictures and they decided that they wanted to show them to the kids also! Well of course, there was quite a few boys there and you know what boys are like, especially if they are teenagers lol. Well this one boy kept saying that I looked really nice in the pictures so I said thank you and then went to put the pictures down, I later noticed though that whilst I was sat somewhere else, he was looking at my pictures and sort of "staring" at them lol. I honestly didn't know what to say or do so I kept on trying to do my work with my friends but then wherever I went, he decided to come and follow! Me and one of my friends decided to go and have a game of Basketball in the gym (that is the only sport I can do because of my RSD) and he went and followed us and kept saying that I was really good at it!! All of the other children keep noticing his behaivour also and they didn't know what to say or do as he seems to stare at most of the girls, although he seems to stare at me the most! I mentioned it to my mum today and she said that I had pulled lol but I was so embarrassed and sort of wish I hadn't shown the pictures to him ... at least he is kinda good-looking so it makes it somewhat worthwhile though lol!!

Polar - That is a great idea about getting one of those electronic picture frames - thanks! My nanan has one and it is really good so I might see about getting one!!

Thanks again everyone for your kind words, I really appreciate them!

You're totally welcome Ali..Watch out for those teenage boys. At that age, they're just one big walking hormone. But by all means, enjoy the attention! ~ You deserve it!
