Here in the back woods of snowy NH we lose all sun in October, and it doesnt normally come back till April. IF you see it, its not strong enough to warm your skin, let alone do any real melting. Yesterday, I was out for a ride to do errands, and...there it was! it was warm, and penetrated my skin! it soaked in to the bone! I sat in silence as a tear fell down my cheek. the hubby asked if I was ok. I said "yep, i just miss the sun." I LOVE the snow, but winters are really hard on your spirit up here.

The sun is shining here and it's 45 degrees already. It's supposed to be in the 60s but rainy and windy today. I can see the dirt on the front glass door here at the office. I think I'm going to wash the winders here today. I'm going to prop open the door and get some much needed fresh air in here too... Is that a Robin I just saw out there? <.....running to the winder to look ..................>

52° and climbing!!!! I'm out in my glass house ODing on vitamin D, drinking awesome coffee, and scribbling furiously in my prayer journal. Lots of thanks & praise today, that's for sure!
Next up, daily journal and paperwork. I'm kind of bummed that my infusion center doesn't do overnight shifts, I have to sacrifice 2 whole hours of this perfect day to them.

Well, I think I really have no business in this thread as my SUN is always alive. LOL
Seriously though, it snowed last night. I got up and watched the news as DD17 was to take the car to school today and I wanted to make sure the roads would be clear and/or no bridges closed etc. She has ZERO experience driving in snow and ice as do so many people around here. But all was good on my side of town. The sun is shining but it will be a balmy 50 degrees today. That is cold considering last week it was 85. LOL *tkrik hurrying out of thread* |

It's a warm 65 here (at 12:30 PM). This will be our last day of above average temps, though. Tomorrow rain, wind and thunderstorms are forecast and by Saturday it will be 55 again....which is the normal high here for this time of year. I still think we will get our annual 2 inches of snow before Spring gets here!
