Glad you made it home safely.
 Now, you have two months to learn how to speak proper "Southern". Remember...it's breakfast, dinner, supper. And any carbonated drink is a Coke. And if you're getting ready to go somewhere you're "fixin" to go. It gets easier when you're around it all the time!

What pics, RW? I forgot my camera and I'm super bummed about that as I don't have a floor plan either and I can't even decide how the furniture will have to go.
I did a ton of sleeping yesterday, I'm darned good at it, too! Well, guys, I won't lie, I'm having some misgivings about this place. Mostly it's the bathroom and the inaccessibility issue. This place has literally, the smallest, tightest bathroom I've ever seen. It has a quite-low toilet, a prison-type sink and NO counter— none. It's a tub with a shower and there isn't even enough room for my transfer bench in there. I'm seriously unsure at this point, everything else is pretty darned good but this one thing may well be a deal breaker. The only "reasonable accommodation" they will yield to is to install grab bars on the tiny toilet wall (none would fit anywhere else!). That and the absence of a curb cut/ramp at the parking space & sidewalk are my two major paranoia points. Something just isn't sitting well with me on this one. It bites, too, I was so psyched about it at first and now the reality of this lousy disease is rearing its ugly head. Oh, just had the call, I somehow managed (against all odds) to pass both the criminal and credit checks.

Like I said originally, if it ain't right, you'll know.
Your needs come first and if it doesn't fit your needs, it's a no go. There IS something out there for you. Are you set on this particular town? Is there any sort of association you can contact to see if there are other HA places available? Can you work with a realtor and give them your personal specs so they can filter out the undesirables, so you don't have to travel down there every time one comes up? I believe this all will work out, but work it will be. (Yoda-ing out here )Maybe you need a house! LOL! They are on sale right now! (now how DID she pass that background check???)
