I did the same thing and took Moi's advise. Although my norton is updated automatically, I double checked and updated it some more..

It will kill me, but my PC will be off and unplugged until the 2nd, also. I already had to re-enter my OS once this year for a virus.. I don't want to have to do it again....the little thieving jerks..
