I bet you'll be watching this thread for a long time ...But I hope I'm wrong..Some of the stuff I've heard on TV about MS is laughable. I've got a few years left, too..Planning on about 50 or so ..

My first thought was; How can I help?

People tend to forget that TV and even movies aren't real life, even the documentaries and reality shows. All are censored and scripted in one way or another even if it's just the editing process to remove certain dialogue or add something as ignorant and irresponsible as that. They have to keep people tuned in and their sponsors happy at all costs even if what was said was intentional and aimed at stirring up a response.

The actors and stars of the show are just that; actors.

MSers (and everyone else on this forum with any disease), we don't act.

We live it.

The sad truth is that we inherited the burden of educating people. And chastising those who are ignorant enough to not check the facts or arrogant enough to think it wouldn't matter.

I am the MonSter that MS fears.

Moose, it may be made up but that still doesn't excuse the fact that they portrayed ms incorrectly. Things like the boogyman is made up, the Matrix is made up, even Bugs Bunny isn't real, but ms is. If they didn't want to do the proper research then they should have made up the disease.

That's what I was saying, poopy pants.

Wait, am I reading your response wrong?

And the title of the show, Lie To Me, we need to use this against them as they didn't portray the disease accurately. Or was it their motive all along to blatantly lie?

See, I say stuff like this and wonder why I don't have any friends. No, I don't want any friends.

No. That's not right either.

I'm sticking with cartoons on TV. Try to tell me Bugs Bunny ain't real. mumble mumble mumble
