My current car is the only one I've ever owned that was less than 5yrs old when I got it. That was in 2002. I'm now back to owning a 10yr old car. (it only has 74k miles on it tho...yay! it had 58k when I got it)
At least this one has been allowed to live in a garage when not being used, and the only scratches on it are from my dad driving it when he was half blind with a cataract...and maybe me when I had optic neuritis in my left eye a couple of years ago. (my dad did the worst scratches tho! We were both half blind at the same time, and we're the only drivers in the house.) My boyfriend had looked at the Ford Fusions when he was looking for a new car. He ended up getting another Dodge minivan. I was with him when he was looking at Ford Fusions tho...on a lot that was actually closed when we were there, but the employees had somehow forgotten to lock the car doors, or collect the keys from the cars... We could have driven off the lot with a new car for each person. (four of us were there looking at the cars) Good thing we're honest. One of the dealers showed up while we were there, all mad that we were in the cars, and we told him that all the cars had keys in them and all of them were unlocked. He freaked, thanked us and then ran to start collecting keys and count the cars.
