Default Anybody want some rain?

Because we have had enough already! We got about 10 inches since yesterday at about 5pm. We are high and dry, but everything around us is pretty much underwater...

I want some! its blistering hot here today, and my garden needs the rain. I would rather have a rainy over cast day than blistering sweltering heat anyday. Although alot of rain can be a pain too.

Stay dry!

Next comes the heat and the mosquitoes....

No sunshine "up north", cloudy and thick thick fog this morning. The rain was pretty intense here yesterday too.

I'll take it! I could use a nice rainy day. Although it is cloudy out today our humidity is only 4%. Bring on the rain Batman.

No thanks. I'm good.

April and May are usually when Nebraska gets a ton of rain...usually.

Default Send the rain to the VI

Rain, I take all you have. I just had to buy water to fill my cistern. I pay $300 for 3600 gallons. We have had way below average rainfall so far this year. I can see the trade showers going by but they just keep going. May is usually a rainy month so I'll keep my hopes up.
I've been recycling as much water as I can for my veggies.

I'll take a day of it!

We are under high fire danger due to the dry underbrush and downed and damaged stuff leftover from the winter.

I scattered grass seed a few days ago on the huge area where the woodpile was and it needs some water!

Hey batman - stop doing rain dances! The past 2 weekends have been horrendous. Haven't seen water that high since Allison!

I have lived in this house for a little over 10 years, and we have never had it this high on the west side since I have been here. I lived in Friendswood for the big one in 1979 (39 inches in 24 hours just sough of there in Alvin), and the rain all night monday night reminded me of how hard it rained in 1979.

I just hope we don't get any more...even a couple of inches right now would be really bad for alot of people out here.
