I hope things heal up well and that you enjoy your new 20/20 vision without glasses.

BTW - I am jealous too! *tkrik pouting* lol I hate the visual distraction of glasses. Hence the reason I have rimless glasses and/or wear my contacts.

Hi Maryann,

So glad to hear that your vision is good at the moment and that it has improved from the surgery!!!

I really hope that you have a very fast recovery and that your eye sight continues to improve!!

You're in my thoughts and prayers. Please take it easy and don't overdo things!!

Thanks so much for all the well-wishes, everyone.

I went in for my post-op visit this morning, only to discover that I have 20/20 vision in my right eye also!! Even though my pupil was still a little dilated, I could read the bottom line on the wall chart and the smallest line on the card.

However, the pressure was way high at 44, so I was given a sample bottle of a pressure-lowering drop to use until my appt next Thursday. Doc said it was nothing to worry about, that it happens sometimes after this surgery, so I'm not going to worry.

I'm taking it easy (thanks, Ali) and only doing things like reading and computing in short intervals.

This is truly fantastic!! I am so very happy!!

Sounds great! My FIL never needed glasses again after he had his cataract surgery. Isn't it neat to get new eyes?
