Default Prom Dress
DD#2's senior prom is the end of the month - yesterday while out for Mother's Day with my mum & 2 DDs - we picked out a pattern and material for mum to make her dress! Here is a picture of the pattern - going to beautiful and a LOT of work for mum. The material is a beautiful pale yellow.

That is so great! will save you a truck load of money to make it and not buy it. Learing to sew has been one of the best things I ever did. Way to go mom!

I wish I had my mom's or her moms talant when it comes to sewing - she is a beautiful semstress and so was Gram. I am sure she will be the belle of the prom!!

I will post pic's - Prom is May 30th.

Oh that dress will be beautiful!! And since it is not being bought in a store, your DD won't have to worry about anyone else having the exact same dress! How sweet of your mom to do that and it's something your DD will always remember. Your mom is already making her prom very special.
