Default I guess I'll sit at home and knit (or crochet)

One of my friends that I havent really seen or talked to for the past few years (since I got diagnosed) asked if I wanted to go hang out at the zoo with her and her daughter today.

I was waiting for her to call me with a time, and where to meet.

I guess her daughter asked her boyfriend if he wanted to come, and suddenly all of a sudden a bunch of his friends are suddenly going and my friend isnt even going to be driving there now (she has to ride with the parents of one of the friends now) and so she just texted me and asked if it was ok if I go out with her next week. (she wants to go to the yarn and fabric stores then)

So, here I am, got up early, took a shower last night so I'd be ready this morning, and now I have nothing to do today.

Nothing like getting dis-invited to something.

I'm disappointed that I'm not getting to do anything with my friend now, but it sounds like she's not too thrilled either about how her daughter's boyfriend decided to invite a crowd of other teenagers and their parents. I cant stand teenagers in large groups that are the age her daughter is (14 or 15yrs old?)

So, getting dis-invited because of that isnt that horrible of a thing. I know I wont have the patience to be around them, and they're not going to want to walk slowly for me when the heat would be starting to suck the life out of me.

I got the feeling that my friend is annoyed with her daughter's boyfriend now.

I just got a text message from her. Apparently her daughter's boyfriend asked several friends to come with, and then his family invited themselves to go and basically just took over the entire outing. My friend is now not even going to be driving there. Said she didnt think I'd want to go (and she's right! Cant stand it when people do that)

I think I'm going to go to Costco with my parents. That's like going to the zoo. Especially if it's sample day. People act like zoo animals when they're handing out samples of chicken nuggets.
