Yep, Sal, it's too busy for my taste as well, but if I don't do anything, the only one it hurts is me. Even a 20-minute cruise through is better than nothing. I'll wear my suit and bring my jammies to change into by 3:00pm, my real friends just expect that of me.

Notice: It's noon:30 and I'm still dinking around here!

Don't feel bad, Sally. I'm not doing anything either. We might grill out tomorrow for supper but that's about it. Just a low key day around here. It's super humid so I'm stuck inside for the most part.

Grilling out....let's see. I would have to go buy a grill ($$$), assemble it (), figure out how to operate it, wheel it out of the garage (where I would have to keep it so it wouldn't get stolen)...

Go buy some meat, haul it downstairs and outside, stand there swatting bugs while it cooks, haul it back UPstairs...

Clean the grill, wheel it back to the garage...

Hey Bob, what kind of frozen pizza do you want??

When I say "we're" grilling out that translates into "the boys will be manning the grill.....I will be inside where it's cool"!!

It'll just be hot dogs and hamburgers. If that doesn't pan out then I've got plenty of frozen pizza on hand, too!!

Yesterday I bought paint, and dd's bf painted my porch floor. Today I bought more paint and stuff to scrape wallpaper - for dd's room. Oh, and I boxed up 3 more boxes for the yard sale.

I dunno. Tomorrow, we'll either scrape, paint or open the pool, depending on the weather.

It's been a quite weekend for me Sal.

I just have been unpacking some of the boxes from moving and
enjoying the new addition.

Tomorrow I am just going over to DS's house for a small bar-b-que
won't stay too late and come home and get ready for TV and Bed.

If I was still in NJ I would be at by DD's house having the annual
memorial yard sale. A large group of friends and family get together and
sell what they can and have a big bar-b-que. Everyone brings their
special dish. I am feeling a little down missing out this year.

Well when DD gets out to Kentucky we will start the tradition
out here. LOL

The way I have been feeling I don't think I could do what I
usually did to get ready for the sale.

Well enjoy what is left of the holiday and I hope that everyone
remembers the real reason for this holiday.

GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS & KEEP THEM SAFE !!!!

Let the day of picnic hopping begin. I tried hard to save up all my energy to do this day.

I have my lets not get overheated box. frozen water bottles, frozen wash clothes, clean dry clothes, cool bandanas, and snacks.

its the visual/emotional and other stimuli that can knock me over the edge. I have nothing on my schedule for the whole week to simply recover. isnt it sad to have to plan this hard for picnics?
