Heel spur and nurse practitioner
I have had a heel spur for umpteen million years. I think I have had it injected twice with wonderful, quick results. So I have been bothered by it now for months but because of my procrastination attitude toward life and everything in it I have not had it treated. So time is up! My Mom is moving and it's getting pretty hard. So my doctors nurse practitioner is doing this injection tomorrow.
I am from the old school. I'm 59 years old, an RN almost 30 of those years. A doctor does that kind of thing! So I am going in with reserved judgement tomorrow to have her do this. When Doc Crawford does it it doesn't hardly hurt except for that split second and then the foot gets better. He does it, I trust him. But Amber does a lot of his work now. She does my annual physical. She did fine when I was so sick with bronchitis and my husband had a bad back sprain. I know that's where medicine is going now but I don't have to like it. But I'm not going to leave my Doctor!
