Chat Hello good friends

Well everyone it has been a hard fight but my WC case is done and over! nope never thought of getting rich as we all know that is not the case but relief of them out of my life is a good start! I live in the country now far away from the noise and a slower pace decompressing,as no stress is a good thing. I have the pains still and they still are HIGH but just one less thing to deal with RIGHT (meaning WC)!

The rain is not helping as it has been none stop also the cold but I enjoy Fall, I live so far out now I hear the coyotes and the owls at night and have the Hawks above me during the day and all is well being back in the back country!

I do try to come here more often but it is as though I have no drive, I feel it is from having the sympathetic nerve cut I have been reading up on it seems as it has allot to do with the drive feeling I must be pushed into things or I will not do it.As for pain well it is still HIGH and must with live with it as it may be TOS one day or RSD the other or even BOTH! I know it is now at my feet as I have the same purple swelling do not touch and the little off color dots along with my nails....ummmph what else can I do????? I pray this all goes away and I wake up and it disappears.

Well the sun is out it is cool so I will bundle up and sit on the deck and listen to mother nature here in the back 40 my farm is called "Funny Farm" I have my sign up for the whole world to know, welcome to the Funny Farm it says in bright bold colors for my friends and family to come down to visit me as I have finally made it here...I will take a pic for you all to see as it is in fun,if we cant laugh we all would just be crying...as I have found myself losing it for awhile way back when and had to be brought back to sense!

Peace and Love to you all,
Flippnout

Thanks the farm is small nothing big but it is quite and peaceful I try to see what I can but been having so much rain and it is chilly also so been inside by the fire. I just want quite and no more stress as it has done no good to be in a work comp battle for every treatment.

So R and R my kids love it the school is top in area and they wished we where here a long time ago! I will not be going up to the city any time soon am having family come down here as a 41/2 to 5 hour road trip is a no go for me unless I rest in between. It is wonderful to see nature out my office window or out my living room no sounds of cars or sirens no traffic and at night the stars I can see well I will stop as I can go on and on...

Please do not take my name for the farm the wrong way folks as we all have to have a sense of humor and mine deals with work comp and what they do to us, hence the funny farm I went there several times and now live here in peace LOL I wish it would stop raining as I believe I moved to Seattle if this keeps up putting on some big band music and relaxing now to relieve the pain truly try music therapy people to help reduce the pain.

Thanks,
flippn

Default a fire = sounds soothing

i miss having a fireplace. the picture (is that the view?) enchanting. these small comforts must be good for the soul. congrats on a hopefully less complex life now with the wc done.

I am happy for you!!!!!

Everyone, if you get sick, and you work, then you should get at least two free consults from attorneys who do work comp in your area to see if you are a candidate.

I know it's hard, I know it's more work, but there is the possibility that it will recompense you for your lost working capacity (permanent disability) and other benefits.

You can't sit back and let the insurance companies win just because they've made it so unpleasant to file a claim - and I KNOW because I am fighting right now to get me medicine ordered properly from a proper doctor in an ADMITTED case with already 3 interim court orders telling the insurance co. to cut it out. So I left a msg. that I am going to report them for knowingly using Medicare funds to pay for my drugs rather than their money, and "viola", my medicine got approved. Of course my attorney always says, "don't call the adjuster" but the last three times his law firm did nothing, so I felt I had not other choice.

Good job and grand congratulations to you!!!

flippin- belated congrats!! I am so happy for you that the WC case is done

I LOVE the name of your farm- when I am able to afford some land here in Mid TN, I may have to borrow that name, since every farm needs a good name. It sounds gorgeous and relaxing out there - where in Missouri is it?

Hey friends sorry it took so long the weather has turned for the worse with all the rain and COLD ugh!

It takes me so long to motivate my self to get up and do some things, I see my wife and kids doing so much around the farm it breaks my heart I cannot do what I used to be able to do,I understand and I live with the knowledge of my limitations but still I do not have to like it.

I pray every day I can wake up and be pain free just to be able to be half of what I used to be able to do, I worked out and was in good shape now I fight to lose weight and to watch what I eat as I do not burn off the energy any more, some days I cannot eat cause of the pain and being so sick and queasy from meds, but without them I cannot move around so I accept I need them.

The farm is moving along have some friends who came by to help repair some things have a wood stove in the shop so I can sit and do some things when I am able to do them, they have switched the hot water and heat over to a outside boiler system so we have free heat and hot water and will never run out unless the well runs dry winch is unlikely to haappen also have the water softener in place and uv light for drinking water so everything is good to go.

The field still need to be cut but with all this rain my wife and son cannot cut it so it just grows and grows they have chased deer hunters off the land as we do not want anyone killing anything we would like to start managing them in the future my sons and wife all love to hunt. I can say I taught them well before my injury and I can still give advise as long as I can remember what I want to say as I start a conversation and have to find help through it as the words just do not come out I forget what I say I am working on keeping my memory strong by reading but of course that is a fight as I find my self reading a line or paragraph over and over to make sense out of it.

AS for the name I do not mind my little peace of land is a sanctuary for me a gift to my wife and kids a place for friends and family to come and visit to get away from all the crazy stuff and just relax and chill I have to stop now it has taken me awhile to right this and my hand is in pain sorry.

My little place is in the Ozarks surrounded by all the lakes and the hills the Amish are my neighbors LOL what good folks they are thanks all and have a wonderful thanksgiving if I do not come on till than I hope all you new folks get information to help you as many folks on here are very helpful and will help you if they can.

Stay strong,
flippn
