Momz,
I just have to say "DITTO" to all the above.
WE ARE ALL HERE FOR YOU.
I had similar surgery to yours a month earlier.
I finally got off the opiates last week and I'm still in excruciating pain if I try to do anything at all. Was up all night due to too much PT and finally took a Norco a few hours ago.
My wife's due with baby #2 in June and I can't bear the thought of the physical pain holding our newborn will probably bring. It's just not right.

Gotta run, our 19mo will be up in an hour & the least I can do for my migraine-suffering wife is watch the baby for a few hours in the morning, especially since I kept her up just trying to get comfortable all night. Won't be more than a quick breakfast ,then maybe 101 Dalmations will amuse her and cheer me up a bit before my wife can get up and play with her outside

Momz... regardless, physical or psych it does not matter nobody should ever have to go through this in life.... and the abuse one harbors is not related to gender. My thoughts and prayers have been with all and hope all might feel a reprieve with their pain and may tomorrow be brighter for all!!!

Wishing all a peaceful day of reflection and may
the faults we have commited be washed away
in his sake. And my prayer unto one and all is to
have a day free of pain! Unto later, my best to
you and yours... Mark~n~Goober

Today we heard the terrible news that our community has lost another little boy. Our friends 2 year old grandson passed away this morning. He drowned in the backyard pool. We are so upset. My daugher was close to him and would see him at the childcare centre she works at. What a senseless death.

Rest in peace little Bryce. We love and miss you buddy.

this was slipping down the page- so i thought I'd say a hello.
we're getting some late season snow flurries here, but the temps are in the 30*-48* range so not too bad.

I hope everyone is doing as well as possible.

Heart Spring break is almost here!!!!

Today i am happy because it is only one more week until spring break vacation to Yosemite. I do think i might have to invest in yet another sleeping pad to be able to stand it, (each year i seem to need the bigger, cushier model ) but it is a small price to pay for sleeping in the outdoors and waking up to a sunrise over half dome.

I do miss the days when my hubby and me could throw on our packs and venture out into the wilderness. There is really nothing like being totally alone in the mountains, but i think i might be stuck settling with car camping for many years to come, at least until the kids are old enough to carry their stuff and mine too!!!

Just for good atmosphere, here is a pic of one of my babies from last year's trip....

Peace and happy almost april to everyone
