PS, new favorite thing about my health club....

They have the big hand dryers that blow air, but high up on the wall so you can stand under them...no more having to hold the hair dryer..
I may never take another shower at home.

Default Today I..

know I am late with my wishes to Mark, and I am happy that the hearing is over! Alles Gute und vielen Dank für die netten Worte!

I am having hundreds of strange things: there is a lot of pain in my arm, but a kind of pain I don`t know until now, there are some red spots on my face, and so on, and so on.....I don`t want to make a list of it.
The people around me are all having influenca - not me happily, but......
I am curious how this goes on.

And for the fight with the hair: today and yesterday I look like a witch and my working mates, too - so it is in the air and not an arm problem *lol*

Wish you all a pleasant day!
Barbara

Default Today I...

Am being haunted by the Lyrica Curse ... I have been on it now for 6 days and I have gained a pound and a half This just sucks!!! I have even been religious with my weight watchers diet...
Now I have to think is the weight gain worth the pain relief... Because this is a issue I don't need anymore added weight on my mind... Need I say anymore...

Shelley-I'm sorry your day is bad. I do hope it gets better.

Dolfinz-It is so good to see you back. How is your Mom and Dad doing?

Many Hugs to All...
Dawn

Default I Feel Poopy

Been energized getting me some weekly help around the house
Hired a person
Then my hubby came up with the W/C issue hiring an outside source
Damn, thought I had it all figured out
I was so jazzed with the help.

Pain, frustration and confussion of the best surgeon or not to have surgery yet continues.
I sit here while my medical care is not being paid for except by hubby.
I'm so tired of this pain crap.
And as for California W/C...it F*&^%$ sucks
Such a pisser how they wait till you die.

Kinda scared...
Called my PCP and asked for a colonoscopy with the breaking news out and about.
Wanna get it before it gets me, AGAIN.

The strings just broke on my violin

Cyndy...sorry

Dawn...did you have your SGB? How did it go? How are you feeling these days? Sorry about the weight gain w/Lyrica. I haven't had as many side effects from it this time as last...maybe your problems will calm down some.

Shelley...sorry you're feeling so awful! Hope today is better!

Mark...hope you get some good news soon from your judges!

Dolfinz...welcome back!

Default Today...

Am so tired... I was initially sleeping great when I started taking the Lyrica which will be a week tomorrow. But last night and the night before I had the hardest time sleeping. It has taken me almost 3 hours to fall asleep and then I wake up exhausted early in the morning among some other things.
My arm is still sensitive, not much change there... I had thought I was starting to feel a little better in that dept but Hmm, probabley not... I guess it's just a cruddy day since I'm tired. Maybe I need to give it more time...

Hi Donna, No the Nurse Practitioner said that since the sensitivity had decreased some that we should hold off on the block and start Lyrica to see how that works. She thinks that the nerve is healing on its own and that it's not RSD at this point. I'm still a little worried that I should have continued with the block to see what the results were. If this isn't improved in another week I'm going to call and see what we need to do. How are you doing?

Oh, Cindy that sucks.. Can you hire a cleaning service to come in and clean your house. I wouldn't think that would be a problem. Everyone has them anymore. Did you check with your attorney to see what they have to say? Maybe they have some recomendations for you.
Good Luck on the colonoscopy.. Your in my thoughts for a clear test..

Shelley, Sure hope your feeling better today.. Enjoy the beautiful warm weekend that's just around the corner..

And to all other TOSers Pain Free wishes and to All...

Dawn

Default Tonight I....

am having a BAD flare- haven't had anything like this in a long time. Just spent an hour on the phone with my mother and by the time we hung up, my neck and shoulders were seriously spasmed....Sometimes she makes me Anybody ever have the feeling that they might as well try communicating with the cat for as much good as they're doing communicating with a parent, child, doctor (fill in the blank)?
