Today I....

Made it through the day. Phew.....big giant breathe woooooooooooo.

I cant believe how whiney I was the other day and how much I beat myself up this week.

The pressure was immense. I had to write a presentation to give ot eh CEO and President of the studio biz I work on. And there is a new day to day client that started this week and wants everything done differently. I did not think I would survive and one night after meeting with her for 2 hours I came back and just cried because I truly thought the work was well over my head and I would lose the account for my agency.

And who knows it may still happen and we may lose the account but I made it through this week. And my presentation was good and I did most of the talking in the meeting today with the CEO.

I need to really try to learn from this new client and take advantage of her knowledge to grow. But part just does not care enough about all of this like when it was my passion before all these health problems.

Well I will just see where it takes me and hope that I can continue on the path.

Seriously thank you for all your support when I needed it most. It meant so much to know I could come here and whine about problems not even that bad but bad to me and have all of your love and support.

I guess I am smart about one thing...having all of you in my life.

It is time for a beer!!!!!!!!! hmmmmm.... I don't really drink so it must be time for some shopping.

Default Today I

just want to say that I'm sorry that so many of my friends are having such a difficult time these last few weeks. Martha, Cyndy, Dawn, Tamara, Shelley, Annie (and a few others who haven't posted lately but are also having a difficult time): I think about you often and hope things improve soon. You're all such incredible women. And this TOS stuff stinks.

And others who I haven't met or talked to--DiMarie, Ada, Victoria, Mark, Peggy--hope you're holding up okay too.

Pls. forgive me if I've left anyone out....I try to limit my computer time and probably miss alot.

xox

Today I.... am back at work after nearly 2 wks off. I am still wiped out from my trip. Its tough to focus, let alone get real work done. Oh well. I hope everyone had a good weekend, and has a good low pain monday!

Thank you Jo! Sorry to read about your aunt. I've been checking periodically, but I'm still waaaaaaaay behind in my reading. I hope to get rested up soon

Default Today I...

am happy to see dabbo back here. Welcome back!

I am so nervous as I will go to hospital tomorrow afternoon and on thursday I will have surgery. As I already wrote, I am afraid of the upcoming weeks - real handicap and the long time of PT and rehabilitation.

My mom will check in and post on friday to tell you how things are going on.

Me too, I hope Mark is OK and goober lets him alone!!!!:-)

All the best and a painless time to everyone here!
Nice greetings,
Barbara
