Default Has Anyone Noticed When Flares Come?

Has anyone noticed when flares come?

I notice that they come when:

There is a climate change of say 5 degrees or more.

When something bad occurs in my family or friends' lives that upsets me, even if I try not to be upset, it still will cause a flare.

If I read too much. Too much being say, an hour?

If I walk every day - once I hit about the 4th day in a row, my body freaks out and flares up and I'm back in bed for anywhere from a few days to many weeks.

When my meds hit a plateau - say the third or fourth month of doing the exact same thing, my body becomes used to it, so it will flare, and then I have to try either a drug change, or another method to try to "trick" my brain into getting off of the pain message.

Too hard of a massage - my massages must be very light and gentle and smoothing of the muscles - no vigorous, deep or pounding type stuff.

Of course, use of hands / arms. Many days can go by when I can't brush my teeth. I can only stand having my hair washed about once a month - my scalp is so sensitive.

Holiday times - even though I don't attend any, I think the feeling that I should be there gets to me.

If I worry about money, not working, that this illness is incurable - I have to push those out of my mind, and pray, (for me), and repeat positive things in my mind, as silly as that sounds. The Lord's Prayer is something I will repeat if I find myself thinking negatively, or before bed.

Does this sound familiar to anyone else?
