Default Anyone try Chigong?

Hi, this is my first day on this forum. I was wondering if anyone who has TOS or pectoralis minor syndrome has tried Chigong and found it helpful?
Thanks!

Hi TOS Gerl, I have very little knowledge of Chigong(which is more correctly spelled Qigong, I have just found out). It is the cultivation of life force and its benefits. There are many different types and the type I was just told about is Wisdom Healing Qigong. There was a hospital started in the 80s by a master of this form. Patients had medical monitoring as well as Qigong treatment/instruction. Supposed to have helped many of the patients. Here is the link if you are interested: Oops, I guess I can't post the link yet, not enough posts.

I'm not sure I could do the all movements but apparently it's ok just to imagine them. But there is also standing still and meditation, that might be hard. If I get to the place where I can take a class I'll let you know how it works.

I tried Qigong as part of a Mindfulness Based Stress Relief program at UCSF. I liked it but there were a lot of repetitive arm movements, especially arm forward positions, that were difficult and painful. I mediated lying down. It worked well while I was doing it, but I can't live my life lying down (no jokes here, please) so that was a problem.

Good luck,
Kelly
