Hi friends,
WOW! I had something else hit me out of no where. It is not like I do not have allot going on in my body right now with this added. I am so bummed and I am not sure it I am to post this here or some where else. Last night as I was cooking dinner My right arm and hand went totally numb and it was numb for awhile. It was so strange I went to touch my hand and I felt nothing, then finally I was able to feel my arm and hand again. Then I woke up this morning and all of a sudden I had more burning then normal all through my shoulder, arm, and hand, and then it started shaking or jerking uncontrollably. I am like something is wrong with me this is not right. So I called my regular doctors office and they told me to go to the ER. I go to the ER they do a brain scan and EKG which all checked out fine. They told me it could be the Lerica I am taking for nerve pain, or it is pinched nerves. They felt it was the Lerica. I am thinking no way can it cause a trimmer in one arm and hand it would cause problems in both arms and hands. They told me to take Valume for the twitch in my arm and hand. Please help has anyone ever experienced this kind of situation? I am still having jerking going on and the burning it way overwhelming. Help please! Thanks |

The nerve is long, from the neck, across the the back of the collar bone, down the arms from the brachial plexus bundle. From this bundle they becone the 3 feet lone nerves of the arm, the medial, ulnar and radial. Dr. Fried explaine, in the instantance he witnesses my daughter was very hypermobile and she was feeling tight and stretching out like big yawns with streatches. The nerve can tolerate so much stress, it is sick and inflamed, when it hits it peak, it will shut down to protect itself,. in her case it did not shake when it woke up, it spasmed up to her chest and arms locked. I had to do trigger point release points to break the tight spasms. Many years ago they shook, when she would wake up and they were asleep, then she tried to get up and pee, her arms were dead., as they came awake they jerked. But I did not know lyrica had a side effect as that...scary. I take Lexapro, and find relief...Also for muscle spasms, Valium. THis is the truest muscle relaxant. BUT the muscles are trying to protect the nerves, so calming the nerves and relaxing the spasms both have to be done. Kind of like my asthma, the 2 in1 with the Advair instead of 2 I took before. I hopee you feel better, Find lighter pans, one pot meals and reduce the overload on the muscles these nerves are attached too...\ di
