Don't know if it is the same idea or not, but for my RSI after a few sessions of PT they hooked up a little electric gizmo on my forearms.
It was used to measure if those muscles were fully relaxing or not.

They weren't , they were under constant strain/spasms still.
But with the machine hooked up we did some exercises and movements as well as used mental focus to get the muscles to relax.
It had lights that lit up is tension was in the muscle and another color when fully relaxed.

It did help me to focus and get my forearms to relax somewhat, but I don't know how it would cover all the area TOS affects...

And it was done for me after some sessions of PT already - so the worst of the injury was reduced and we were just using it to find out why my arm muscles were still under tension.

I really only had the most lasting help from my chiropractor and a few really good PT people.

Plus just overall watching my posture and shoulder/head alignment,
doing stretching and movements to keep things loose.

I did production assembly work - injury/quit in 04.

Lots of reaching, grasping, twisting, tool use, lifting, detailed/ fine finger work, static forward postures at times and 10 hr work shift.

some standing ,some sitting but mostly lots of arms forward & head forward plus speed due to production quotas.

It really depends on each person & the kind of job it it.

- if they can get job, equipment & ergonomic accommodations from employer

- if they feel they can maintain it without increase of any symptoms or pain

I went back to same job after my first RSI in 1999 - I wish I had known then that RSIs can eventually become something like TOS - I could have used the time to take classes or apply for another job in the company with less demands on my arms.
