Hi flippnout...thanks for your replies and links on both my threads. Sorry you're having such a hard time! Yes, it's such a big adjustment, isn't it...it's still hard for me to accept not being able to do what I used to, on top of constant pain!

Do you have a good TOS doc, that's really knowledgeable and helpful? Have you tried Lyrica? How about an anti-depressant...that website you gave me recommends certain antidepressants for treatment of RSD, and they may help with being able to cope, too.

Sorry, I don't know a lot of your history...you may already be doing all this...but anyway, I'm sorry you're going through so much right now.

I know how you feel.. It is so hard to try and do a few things only to have to stop because of the pain and discomfort.. I count on my husband for almost everything but he works full time and I feel uncomfortable sometimes asking him to do certain things for me when he comes home tired from a busy shift. He doesn't complain he does it. But for me it is uncomfortable at times since I was such a independent person.
I recently had a second surgery on my right TOS side. I am one month post op. I see my surgeon tomorrow for my one month post op visit only to tell him that I am having an on going problem with hypersensativity, burning and color change in my right arm. Which I'm sure he really doesn't want to hear..
There is one thing among others that you are allowed to do here and that is whine.. We all do it at one time or another and I feel that this is the place that everyone understands.. Like you there are times that I also feel like hiding in a dark place and sleeping the day away.. Today acually was one of those days.. I think I came onto this forum quite often today.. It was one place where I knew I could speak my mind and everyone would understand..
As you say tomorrow is a new day and we can hope that it is a good one for all of us..
