Default Back after long time-Need HELP

Hello, I have been gone a long time I was dx with bi-lateral Tos what seems a long time ago, 2004, and although I live in VA my parents live in PA and I was able to see Dr. Togut for awhile. I saw a neurosurgeon in the area who wanted to jump to surgery immediately, and I want to avoid that. My symptoms started after two car accidents, and increased after a third. In the middle of all of it, they also found that I have a syrinx (which is a cyst in the middle of your spinal cord, not operable) at T8-T10. I used to have a great pain management dr. but after my divorce and change of insurance I had to change drs. and I have have been at a loss since then. I did make one attempt to work with a new pain group but they wanted to work on "one" thing at a time, and concentrated on the headaches and sent me to an other specialist who wanted to do RF procedure to burn the nerves in the neck that he considered a problem. I have bad issues with my hands, and a thumb that twitches, and he stated the nerve is compromised (most drs. have no idea about it). When I spoke the the pain mang. dr. about the other issues meantime he suggested muscle relaxers! Been there, and that doesn't work for me. I looked at the drs. on the list and I only see on dr. on the list for Virginia, not close to me. I live in Norfolk Va. Anyone close to me?
