From Sharon Butler's website
(articles section) [When you start a stretch, tune into your body's sensations and feel what the stretch feels like. Notice where you feel the pull. Is it changing? If it is intensifying, then back off on the intensity slightly. You don't want to back off to the point of losing the stretch entirely, so you will have to practice how to back off just enough to still feel some of the stretching sensation.} the full article here - http://www.selfcare4rsi.com/effective-stretch.html more articles - http://www.selfcare4rsi.com/effective-stretch.html http://www.selfcare4rsi.com/fascia.html ************************************************** ****** Just want to clarify. When I mention stretching , Sharon's suggestions are what I am talking about. Gentle, careful and being aware of the feelings that are happening. The more pain & symptoms we are having the more gentle we must be. I'm not suggesting the general PT protocol style of forcing a stretch, or stretching to the max range that you can do.. It just doesn't work for us..
