Oh gosh... That is a lot.
I am from Europe, Scandinavia, and in my home country there are no TOS specialists who would use modern research and surgery techniques* and therefore I am considering surgery in US. I do not have a health insurance: 1) I cannot get a one in my home country because I have had a brain tumor, 2) the healthcare in here is free so normally (when having common health problems) I do not need one. In the case there is someone from UK (I have lived in Wales & London earlier in my life) who would be able to recommend some good TOS surgeon in UK, I would be very happy ![]() *E.g. One size fits all scalenotomy (not scalenectomy) is offered with success rate less than 30 % (more than 60 % of those who go through the surgery will not work again). |

Hello ,
I copied your post to a thread of your own for hellos and replies about your surgery questions. Maybe someone will have suggestions for European TOS specialists for you. There might be some listed in the Drs & PT sticky thread up above the main TOS page thread list. What are your worst symptoms and how bad is your average daily pain levels? We might have tips and ideas that can help you avoid surgery.
