Default Burning Senation

Does anyone else ever feel like someone lit their arm on fire? I was just diagnosed with TOS today and will be making an appointment with a specialist tomorrow. I'll make sure and mention this to them but I was wondering if anyone else experiences this. I wake up 3-4 nights a week with my left arm feeling like it was doused in gasoline and then lite on fire. Several of those nights I've actually gone into the bathroom to turn the light on because I wasn't sure if my hand was massively swollen or not. It never has been but it sure feels like it.

I don't recall anyone describing it that way, could it be RSD/CRPS??
Or both TOS & RSD?

any blotchy or mottled skin?
Is skin super sensitive to being touched even by air or clothing?

CRPS/RSD forum here if you want to read more on it -

When my symptoms increase, I often feel like somebody has a lighter right around my outer scap, armpit, and upper arm. It's subtle, but it's there.

TOS is often mistaken for RSD, or sometimes people have both. It is more typical with the burning feeling you are talking about, but when there is a combonation its harder to tell what pain is from where. Most TOS experts, are trained in diagnosing both conditions. (most)

Someone recently replied to a post stating that burning = x, aching = y and throbbing or whatever = z. IMO, you can't define it as simply and it's not correct.

I burn and I do not have RSD.

I don't have any blotchy or mottled skin. I've had a very preliminary TOS diagnosis and am looking forward to seeing someone who specializes in this.

When the nerve is affected you can get any kind of odd sensations, I guess.

Your C spine is fine & normal correct?
no issues there? no previous cervical spine injuries?

yeah burning could be SO MANY THINGS

before i always thought burning was nerves but recently i realized it's my muscles being too tight in spots.

for me however, if it's a very very large area then it's more nerve irritation

Default burning throbbing, o my

o yeah, isnt the burning pain relentless? give me a COLD ice bath anytime

TOS and its combined conditions are a colorful wheel

so what is it??? is it
TOS - the muscle spasms, the ears, the eyes, the shoulder, forearm, the ribs, the neck, the tightness, the burning, stabbing, throbbing and swelling (o, wait isnt that all RSD?)
RSD - the redness, the swelling, the throbbing, but i thought that was TOS?
FM - good ole aches and pains, brain fog, (its just rhuematism)
RLS - o, the leg pains, cramps, the twitches. Geesh Im not 6 anymore and my legs arent growing
CRPS - the lovely umbrella of all the above and more for the medical community to diagnosis neurological patients like us all

http://www.resource4rsd.com/topics/whatisrsd.html

if this technically challenged one could figure out how to attach photos from my files we could laugh another day more often
