i'm flared up so i cant sleep on my side

what happens is my shoulder/ribs are elevated already in the wrong position..(burning levator upper traps a little scalenes) then they collapse forward and then it feeds into itself over and over and msp does not sleep

i am on a tiny dose of thyroid meds now and my forearms dont feel like waterballoons which is nice.

I just realized I've only been taking half the dv for mag 4 at least a month now because I switched brands. No wonder my flares have been worse. Dur

sooooooooo the weird nerve sensations have gone YES ITS RELATED TO THE MAGNESIUM.

i think the reason i like the grapeseed extract is because i have bad fluid retention. it's not really tos. if i sleep on my face squished up my face swells. and if i sit in a tos-y position i can swell up. but only i see the swelling, ive mentioned it to docs and they dont believe me

so im makinga list of exercises that dont flare me up

GOOD-BAD ratio. this is very scientific OBV

GOOD pretty much all red cord, because someone is watching me
50/50 scm/ scalene stretch
75/25 ball on wall
GOOD levator stretch
BAD corner stretch
BAD resistance bands. i have found ONE resistance band exercise that i like. you sit in good posture with your elbows bent at 90 degrees, thumbs up, YELLOW BAND only. elbows pinned at side pull hands apart against band where there at like a 70(??) degree angle. i feel my lower traps working.
BAD tricep dumbbell strengthening
BAD VERY VERY BAD foam roller spine stretch
BAD ys ts ws
BAD scap pushup straight arms against wall
BAD nerve glides that involve turning the head.
GOOD bicep curl
GOOD foam roller pec stretch
GOOD scap pushup elbows against wall
BAD VERY VERY BAD "squeezing shoulderblades together"

did a bunch of nerve glides today and it made my hands less numb but my median nerve is still pretty numb. ulnar is better.

taking hot baths i think makes everything numb again?????

either way they all start to go numb again i need to do nerve glides i guess every other day now that i can tolerate them

When I do nerve glides before then after a hot shower I have greator ROM after. If I just do them after I seem to still have poor ROM.

I'm not even two weeks post surgery. The nerve glides decrease the numbness in my hand but no change in the nerve numbness in my arm.

yup my rom varies a lot. it makes me neurotic. not sure what you'd do about arm numbness

its very strange to me that the numbness changes now but i guess that's a good sign. back before i had my flare up it was crazy, i'd be standing hands less numb, sit down at comp, go numb again, stand up less numb.

i hope to god my arms feel less heavy after my shoulder is supported better but im worried they wont

another thing related to hot baths showers etc, i feel a LOT better exercising and stretching when my body temp is in the 98 range and i can sweat a little. trying to exercise (which ive done too many times!) with a body temp of 96-97 is a joke.

this is a good nerve gilde, my median nerve is the most messed up.

i wish all videos made a big deal about keeping the shoulder down and in the right place when you do a nerve gilde. it's very dangerous if you dont
