Default Posture

So, has posture helped you?

I fully realized my posture was bad when I saw a picture a friend had taken when I was pretending to be arrested. We did the side profile shot. Well, my neck is really far forward! When I put my head where it is supposed to be it feels so weird and feels like I am pushing my head WAYYYY back. BUT, upon looking at video of me doing this, it actually looks NORMAL. It just feels really weird.

I have the classic sway back and neck forward. So, I did these things called wall angels where you stand against the wall with your shoulders flat and you put your hands above your head against the wall and then move your hands down the wall. It really kicks you in the back and makes your shoulders go way down. I cannot do them much anymore cause they make the blood go down so fast out of my arms but they really showed me how my shoulders should be.

So, it is three things right now for me:

pushing my abs in
pushing my shoulders down
pushing my chin in

i am doing well so far, been doing it 4 days now. my neck hurts (it is a pain like you get after working out, a pleasant pain) at the back of my neck. otherwise, is ok. i hope i can continue it.

also doing ART to lengthen my chest muscles back out.

love ya
