I was forced by therapists to do that stretch for years and it was the bane of my existence. The therapists always made it out to be something I had to do and my form must need improvement if it was aggravating my symptoms. I simply quit PT after I started getting dizzy and lightheaded from a lack of blood flow from the stretch. Thank goodness I found www.andoaston.com! Now I do some wall stretches but only one arm at a time (and no more 1st rib causing compression). Apparently, both arms at the same time forces the chest out and the ribs to rise.

JKL and I are trying to talk Dr. Ando into writing a TOS treatment protocol that can be shared with our forum community that we all could take to our therapists. Something needs to be done based on the counterproductive treatments many of us have received.

Marc, that would be great. I know some of the pt I was doing was making things worse.

That would be amazing!

I agree I only stretch one pec at a time. I can do both at once now....but because of bad memories I'd rather not
