Default increase muscle tension/spasm of scalenes : extra-pyramidal disorder ?

http://www.cmaj.ca/content/164/2/203.full
http://www.jada-plus.com/content/116/4/514.short

...

Can an injury like whisplash or RSI trigger an extra-pyramidal 'disorder' in the brain ? In the goal to protect the area...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orphenadrine#Uses interesting..

Can Orphenadrine safely relieve the damn spasm ?

"Comparison of depressant actions of orphenadrine and diazepam on hypertonic skeletal muscle activity."

"It would appear that both agents are acting via the central nervous system when they suppress hypertonic skeletal muscle activity, but only orphenadrine exhibits protective indices consistently greater than 1."

Hey All
Just wanted to give a quick update for all who are gone to have surgery. Im ñow 3 months post op. I never was pain free but i was doing a lil better. The last 。 2weaks havr been really bad last couple days i cant even function. I feel like i never had the surgery. Im hoping maybe it is because the weather has been crappy here in pa and more activity brcause of the holiday. Idk ill have to wait it out. Just such a let down right now. Sorry for any typos but its my dominant arm. Hope everyone is well and happy holidays. Ps. I only had a scalectomy and decompression of the brachial. I have True NTOS. No extra rib.
