Default Gralise?

Has anyone tried this medication for TOS?

My Pain Clinic gave me 2 packs of it yesterday to try as the cost of my Lyrica went from $25 to $310 per month. From what I can figure out from the packaging and the minimal information I can find online, it's a "new" drug from an old source. It's Gabapentin which has been slightly reformulated to act as an extended release. You would take your full dose at one time only (ie. 3-600mg pills).

To me, this does not look like a solution to my problem. It's purely Gabapentin name branded, so the pharma company can make a profit. There was also a $75 per month savings card in the pack, so this tells me it's not classified as a generic and probably priced similar to Lyrica.
