LoriAnn has TOS and suffers from nerve damage post op and needs a wheelchair to get around. Please read her story and vote. You can vote once a day due to isp being recognized but you can also get 2 votes counted each day by answering the question on the left picture when selected. Fellow Toser's on facebook have been voting daily when her family have given up doing so. Your help would be greatly appreciated. I live in another country and vote daily.

I am not sure if LoriAnn is on neurotalk forums but she is on the facebook TOS support group some of us from here are on. For some people nerve damage and paralysis can occur during surgery and this happened to LoriAnn. I haven't had surgery but was warned by my specialist that it was the worst case scenerio if I had surgery. The nerves in the brachial plexus must have been so damaged that the surgery did more harm than good there. My own surgeon is doing every scan and test possible to mentally pre plan my surgery but sometimes things don't show up on tests. LoriAnns story is one of the worst I have heard of apart from botched surgery from bad surgeons. I hope this helps answer your question Regards Tracie

I had surgery in Jan. 2011 which resulted in complications that required 2 further surgeries.....all 3 in the same surgical site, certain that all surgeries messed with nerves so much that I have ongoing problems and can not at this point find a solution. chloecasey |
